TiviMate M3U Playlist Setup (Fire Stick & Google TV)
TiviMate is one of the best IPTV players for Fire Stick and Google TV. It’s built specifically for TV, which makes navigating channels, categories, and playlists much easier compared to basic players.
Once your playlist is loaded, TiviMate gives you a much cleaner experience with channel lists, categories, and optional TV guide support.

Quick Steps
- Open TiviMate
- Allow permissions if prompted
- Select Add Playlist
- Choose M3U Playlist
- Enter your playlist URL
- Wait for channels to process and load
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Open TiviMate

Launch the TiviMate app. The first setup screen will guide you toward adding a playlist.
Step 2: Optional: Allow TiviMate to Display Over Other Apps

If your device shows this permission prompt, go into the settings screen for TiviMate. This permission is mainly used for overlay-style features. Basic playlist setup should still work without it, but allowing it may prevent permission prompts from interrupting your setup.
Step 3: Toggle TiviMate Display Permission On

Toggle the switch on, then return to TiviMate.
Step 4: Click Add Playlist

On the TiviMate setup screen, select Add Playlist.
Step 5: Select M3U Playlist

Select M3U Playlist. This is the option to use when you have a direct M3U playlist URL.
Step 6: Enter Your Playlist URL

Type or paste your M3U playlist URL into the playlist URL box. Make sure the full link is entered correctly, because one missing character can stop the playlist from loading.
Step 7: Select Next

After entering your playlist URL, select Next so TiviMate can check and process the playlist.
Step 8: Wait for the Playlist to Process

TiviMate will now try to load the playlist. This may take a moment depending on the size of the playlist and the speed of the server.
Step 9: Click Next After the Playlist Finishes Processing

Once the playlist finishes processing, select Next to continue.
Step 10: Skip EPG If You Do Not Have a TV Guide URL

TiviMate may ask for an EPG URL. EPG stands for Electronic Program Guide, which is the TV guide data that shows program names, times, and schedules. If your playlist does not include a separate EPG URL, select Done.
Step 11: View Your Playlist Channels

After the playlist loads, you should see your channels inside the TiviMate interface. If guide data is available, you may also see a timeline-style guide.
Step 12: Filter Channels by Category

Use the category menu to filter the playlist by channel groups. This makes it easier to find live TV, movies, sports, news, or any other categories included with your playlist.
Troubleshooting
- If the playlist does not load, double-check the playlist URL for typos
- If channels are missing, the playlist source may be outdated
- If streams buffer heavily, test your internet connection
- If no guide appears, your playlist may not include EPG data
- If the app freezes, restart your streaming device and reopen TiviMate
